About

Created back in 2013, grizzlychadams.com was (and still is) a place to promote courage and creativity through writing, whether it be through the release of my inner-child or expressing themes near and dear to my heart. Now, over 10 years later and older, wiser, and a bit more mature, I finally published my first book, The Significance of a Birthday. Understanding the necessity to create a newer or more refined online presence while keeping with the spirit of the original site, Grizzly Chadams Publishing was born.

The human mind is the world’s greatest source of potential, and it’s heartbreaking knowing there are so many out there who never get the chance to show what they’re truly capable of. It is my mission to provide an outlet for imagination and encourage those of us who have so much to say to find their voice and express it to the world.

Who am I?

My name is Zachary Michael Andrews, and aside from being an author, I am a husband, father, and above all, a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ. Growing up as an avid skateboarder and devoted connoisseur of video games (as many of us kids were in the 90’s), I never “dreamed” of being an author. But a few influences in my life, most notably teachers who introduced me to classic literature and my father publishing a novel of his own, eventually led me to follow in his footsteps and become a writer. In order to achieve this dream, I created Grizzly Chadams Publishing with hopes of expanding with future projects.

In October of 2025, I published my first novel, “Waiting on Heaven’s Doorstep,” while creating a YouTube channel dedicated to the craft of writing and storytelling. Aside from that, I also run the blog grizzlychadams.com where I often opine on the comical tribulations of life (of which there are many!), while touching on topics near and dear to my heart. Having spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest, I graduated from Washington State University with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, where my work has taken me all around the world, from Washington State to Washington DC, and from Athens, Greece to Seoul, South Korea. Setting engineering aside for now, I hope to focus on influencing people through my writing and spreading uplifting messages about life and overcoming hardships.
